OUR STORY

We are a husband and wife team, lovers of good wine, enjoy entertaining, and ran Wine Tasting Tours in California for 11 years. After moving to Georgia one item on our ‘East Coast To-Do List’ was to seek out local wineries. And lo and behold . . . we found several wineries in a beautiful countryside setting with stunning views, a good varietal of wines and of course, ‘Southern Charm’ in North Georgia. And all of this is only a little over an hour from the Metropolitan Atlanta area!

Our first experience was the annual ‘Georgia Wine Highway’ that provided a ‘peek’ into the many wineries in the area. So, for the next year we did our homework touring the wineries, meeting the wonderful owners (and enjoying wine tasting along the way), and decided to share this wonderful experience with others. From there ‘Pop the Cork Wine Tours’ was born! We are here to bring a ‘new vibe’ with our wine tasting tours! We are committed to providing our guests a safe atmosphere as you tour North Georgia’s Wine Country with us on our Luxury Executive Mini Coach.

Our goal is to please our guests with an excellent experience as you gain knowledge of the wine differences (dry to sweet, red to white) with the art of wine tasting! Check out our wine tour packages which include a gourmet lunch, snacks, and other surprises as you relax and enjoy a stress free day being chauffeured in style!

It takes a Village

I’m Debi from Southern California and provide HR services to Pop the Cork Wine Tours. After leaving the corporate world this is a nice transition to continue in my field but provide assistance in this fun industry of wine tours.

I’m Chef Natalie Jane of Natalie Jane’s Catering and proud to be the chef for Pop the Cork Wine Tours. I believe food is more than just substance. It should be an unforgettable experience to make your taste buds dance! Bon Appetit!

I’m Jai from Chicago and provide admin services to Pop the Cork Wine Tours and personal assistant to the owners. I was originally a customer as I celebrated a milestone birthday on a wine tour and here we are almost two years later and I’m a part of the team!

I’m Jarome from Southern California and as a nature enthusiast and wine lover, I find immense joy in my role at Pop the Cork Wine Tours. Guiding guests through picturesque vineyards and teaching them the art of tasting wine is incredibly fulling. The strong sense of camaraderie among the team makes every tour a joy to a part of!

I’m Renata from Brazil and speak Portuguese, Spanish and English. I’m an artist and Interpreter and enjoy bringing happiness and joy to your wine tour adventure because YOU desert it! Ms. La Tanya and Mr. Chuck have a very special spot in my heart as they created a team that trust each other as we embrace our customers with professionalism and responsibility! And of course, with fun!

I’m Jeff from North Carolina and enjoy spending the day with customers and sharing beautiful North Georgia Wine Country in a relaxed atmosphere!

I’m Carnell (aka Creed) and I’m a local truck driver, and father of four beautiful children. Serving is truly a gift from God, and here at Pop the Cork Wine Tours I’m able to share the gift of serving others!

I’m Valentino from the Bahamas and I believe in being a representative of Black Excellence embodying the Pop the Cork Wine Tours Culture of always providing excellent service and understand the core of wine tasting. I love being a part of this Black-owned business that feels like home because Chuck and La Tanya embrance our staff as family and to them, I say Wakanda Forever!

I’m Keshar (aka Kash). As a Southern California transplant ATL with a chill attitude, love networking and showing people a good time. I grew up on road trips, which fueled my passion for exploration and connecting with others. That’s why working with Pop the Cork Wine Tours is a perfect fit allowing me to combine my love for wine, people and creating memorable experiences!

I’m Redmond (aka Red) and it is a pleasure meeting so many different people each week as we share the different wines with our customers. It is nice to see them try so many different wines.

I’m Clara from Oklahoma, Grandmother of six with a daughter and son I love dearly. I learned self-love and making myself a priority. I love working with Pop the Cork Wine Tours because the owners are amazing, and I love serving and meeting new people!

I’m Garrett and one of the newer tour guide/drivers with Pop the Cork Wine Tours. I’ve learned so much about the wine and enjoy working with the winery staff and our customers to ensure a pleasant day is had by all!
